VERTICAL SCREENS

Shades and Shutters external vertical screen rollers, block solar rays before they reach glass windows, therefore providing the most effective solution to reduce heat inside. There are many types of vertical screen rollers, either with or without a cassette style head box.

Cassette head box sizes range from 95mm x 95mm up to 125mm x 125mm. The cassette box/blind is secured to the façade of the building with stainless steel guide wires or aluminium side channels. These guides are to keep the fabric as close as possible to the window.

Accessories include a spring tension system to keep the fabric tort. Vertical screen rollers are operated using either a crank handle or motorised, allowing you to fully automate your blind. When fitted with sun/light sensors your blind will operate according to the levels of sunlight.

All cassette boxes can be powder coated allowing you to match the façade. All systems are available in a range of both sunscreen and acrylic fabric options.

The Vertiscreen, Drop Arm awning & the Markisolette are ideal for long vertical spans of glazing.

The Markisolette is particularly suited for long vertical spans of glazing such as high windows normally found in commercial applications. The Markisolette adds aesthetic appeal to contemporary architectural facades whilst providing shade and glare relief. The arms operate on a spring tension system and can pivot up to 90º.

As with all of our external blind systems, the Markisolette can be operated both manually or motorised and all external screen and acrylic options are compatible.
